Default Under glove compartment felt

The felt under my glove compartment ripped and is hanging down. Does anyone know that part number is like to replace it rather than patch it.

Yeah, that's ugly.
Have you tried the Parts Finder yet?

Think you want part number: C2P17130
Its called “Insulation Pad”.
That’s the part number for the passenger side of a LH drive car. (C2P17129 is the passenger side of a RH drive car.)
If buying it new, it should come with the clips.

Looks like C2P17130 is still available from JLR but at that price, I'd be trying to find a used one first!

I got one at Rusnak Jaguar in Pasadena last July for 289.41 installed. It is part Nr. C2P17130. It's name is Insulation Pad.

I was literally going to post this same question today.

dows the pad do anything except sound insulation? Can I remove it (at those replacement prices)?

Thanks all!

It doesn’t do anything other than make the underside of the glovebox area look neater if you stick your head down there.

Mrs. LHR has kicked two of them right out from under the dash on long road trips from perpetual motion on her side of the car. I replaced it twice. There won't be a third time.

Mine is almost in the same shape. The cardboard and felt clips just have no support and there's not much for them to hang onto. It's really annoying and poor design.

I've been looking for this part and am unable to locate one, or any clips to try to fix the one that is falling in my coupe. Any resource for purchase?

The clips (item #11 in the above drawing) can be purchased from ClipsAndFasteners.com, I have a box of them I bought, not knowing that a new insulation pad came with them. If I find the box, I’ll post their part number.

EDIT: The ClipsAndFasteners.com part number is 21790, looks like the Ford part is W709688-S300.
