That's an interesting question. Sticker price on a new one here in New Zealand is about 3 times the sticker price of one in California (even though the exchange rate would suggest it should only be 1.3 times more). So... if I was living in the USA I could have bought a 2010 or 2011 for the same money.

When I bought my 07 XKR Convertible December 06 they hadn't been released in New Zealand so I bought mine from the UK and had it shipped to the other side of the world (NZ). At that time it cost me $235,000NZD (Landed with all on road costs paid) and I saved about $40,000NZD (I had every available option except the heated steering wheel which wasn't available with the spun aluminum trim. If you guys only drove on the 'Right' side of the road we could save a whole lot more down here - any chance you can get that changed!

Yep... I traded it to Ebbett's but since they already had an 07 XK on the lot I'm guessing they figured out a deal with Chch Euro - which is where it came from in the first place.

It is interesting to watch cars being passed between dealers as the months pass by without a sale.
I am hoping to get an XK or XKR at some point but have to wait for the kids to leave home before I go back to a 2 door. 2 babies in my XJS was a challenge which was why I had to move to 4 door Jags!

This time last year there were 2 black XKs in the South Island which were for sale for over a year at about $120,000. And there was a steel bodied 06 XKR for the same price (which has dropped to $86000 and still hasn't sold). The one I bought was the first one listed at under $100,000. Traded my 97 XK8 which they sold quite quickly and an 01 Audi TT.
