Exclamation Water leak under supercharger, SC coming off!! :(

Hi,

I have a 2007 XKR, 150,000 miles. It over heated and steamed up, threw out all its water, at the traffics lights last Saturday. After a pressure test, the mechanics said it was a pipe under the supercharger. This seems quite common, valley pipe?

Whilst the supercharger is off, is there anything else I should get changed? also, what seals should I look at replacing when the SC is going back on?

Thanks in advance,

Was it a hose in the V and/or which hose was it and how did you get to it?

How bad did it overheat? Any permanent damage?

My local dealer in Virginia had an '07 XKR coupe come in on a trade last month with 155K miles on it. It was in beautiful shape; light blue frost with a caramel interior. She traded it for a new F-Type and I believe she got the R-S version. They put a price tag of $18,995 on it and sold it within a week.
