Hey guys,

I dropped off my 2012 XKR at the local dealer to have an alignment done. My car is a Select CPO car (5 more months left). I also had the occasional whiff of coolant (everyone other week or so).

Sure enough, the water pump needs to be replaced. They are covering that under the CPO.

In addition, I had them check the SC coupler because I would hear a rattle after after shut down. Sure enough.. the blower snout needs to be serviced. (Advisor didn’t know if that was covered yet).

Then they found a bad transmission mount (thinks he can get that covered).

Also, oil pan gasket leak. (He doesn’t know if that’s covered).

It looks like I’ll have the XE loaner for the week. I’ll keep everyone updated on the coverage of the Select CPO. The car just turned 30k miles and drove perfect. It really is a clean car with a full documented Jaguar service history. Kind of suprised that the S/C Coupler is making noise this soon... water pump didnt suprise me.

Update: The dealer covered everything! Trans mount, oil pan seal, water pump, Supercharger coupler repair kit. I paid $150 for the alignment.

I believe some of this stuff could have waited. Being a dealer.. they find everything.

Very happy with this CPO repair service. Had a new XE for 4/5 days and was able to put some mileage on that.
