That looks good, I would like my Senta's in a darker shade too. Did you use an aerosol can or with compressor?
Mmmm, Maybe a winter project! :-)

Washed it!

Well both of them. So it's guaranteed to rain now.

Peter once the clear coat goes on it really darkens them up .

I used the dupicolor hyper Silver kit and purchased additional can of primer.

The cans are far more difficult than using the gun / compressor as you need to keep them more or less vertical the entire time otherwise they lose pressure and splutter.

One wheel completed i'd say the kit will only just cover two wheels.

Why, yours are out? They will not look good if you paint them.

I installed my 2019 license plate in my new, solar-powered, wireless backup cam frame. See my Post #11: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...option-206212/

The power cord is for my battery maintainer.

I removed the lot then re-installed once the rim was painted it looked odd, so I ended up priming and painting them actually looks so much better now

Yes, several months ago I tried doing this on one XK wheel, holding the spray can horizontal - and was not happy with the results so I paid to have the four wheels refinished a dark grey metallic color.

You forgot one bolt!:-)
I would like mine in a darker tone. I think I will plasti dip one wheel in Gun metall grey/antracit grey and see how it looks. Don't want to spray one wheel and not be happy with it. :-)

Plasti-dip that I put on 9 months ago and have shown no signs of wear... I used plasti-dip to see how I was going to like the color with the intention of painting or powder coating the wheels if I liked it, and to be honest the plasti-dip looked so good and has held up so well, I just haven't worried about painting/coating them yet. I will eventually, but I'm in no hurry at this point...
