What did you do to your X150 today?
This is as far as I’m stepping out of the house as it’s ripping down here. For me it looks far more modern and really cleans the lines up. Ties in nicely with the black on the mirrors and the tinted rear screen too.
Well done. Looks factory and trendy. Is it semi gloss? The black trim looks real good with the paint color.

I finally got off my **** and finished winterizing for storage. The weather has been unusually ok. Snow storm coming tomorrow. Did an engine flush, changed the oil, filled the tank, added stabilizer and drove it for about an hour. Then I pulled into the garage onto plastic painters tarp, threw some dryer sheets in the cabin, trunk and engine bay. Inflated the tires too 40PSI.
I left a note for the meeces on behalf of Q&C about the peppermint oil. Will see if one of them responds.
I also saw my upper control arms are shot and so I ordered them Will change them out this winter. Lastly, the minor VVT seal leak is bugging me so I will replace that this week.

When I had my engine mount replaces a few months ago I was informed that my RF lower control arm may have a problem. When I got my diff fluid changed last week I took a peek at it...... it appeared wonderful, but had a bit of that hard gooey-looking assembly muck that Brutal commented on about that steering rack 'leak' in another thread. Yep, baked-on hard goop appeared to come from one bushing, but everything sans-goop was good.
jag will be 9 years old in January with 60k on clock belts need changing at 10 years or 100k miles also spark plugs . took the step today to book car in for late next week get belts changed now. i like to keep on top of maintenance
My Xk is 10 yrs old and only 26K on it. Belts look great, hoses too. Should I replace them anyways? Spark plugs too?
You should change your brake fluid every 2 years. Flush and replace you coolant every 5 years/ 50,000 miles, Transmission fluid drain and change every 60,000 miles or 8 years.
Drove mine 367 miles on wonderful back roads yesterday. What a great car!! Smooth, solid, refined, powerful and comfortable. Wife and I arrived back home feeling great.
Hope the rest of you in NA had a great Thanksgiving.

I checked the belts last week using the inspection camera so to see underneath was like , They look good to be honest and i could get away with leaving them for another year TBH but out they come next week only $250 to get both changed . I would have a go at it myself but want the paperwork in case i sell the car . i like to keep on top . It is really up to you if you get them done
