Default What is the latest updated map disc for a 2010 jaguar xk?

Does anyone know what the latest updated map disc for a 2010 Jaguar XK is? Do they make one? If so... what year do the maps go up to? I'm talking about the United States. I called Jaguar and they seem to be in the dark (At least the rep I spoke to was) Any info would be appreciated. Thanks all.

It's not what you'd expect, and there is one minor drawback.....

Thanks CEE JAY.... but after reading the link, I am still totally clueless. Firstly... Where can these discs be purchased? Secondly, What maps and dates do they cover in the US? Thirdly, there are no clear instructions are installing the discs... Is one disc for software? and the 2nd the actual maps? Totally confusing and I wouldn't want to crash my Nav system.. Doesn't anyone know after all this time the correct method to update our maps? In my Lexus, I simply change the disc to an updated disc.. Period. Where are these discs purchased?

This lengthy thread from 2017 includes everything you need to know about the most current nav disc, which is from Volvo. That Volvo disc covers the US and Canada and is newer than the last disk from Jaguar. You can order that Volvo disk from any Volvo dealer. Installation is easy. Read the entire thread before doing anything.

That Volvo disk is now old and can't be relied on for accurate directions as roads have changed. You're better off to save your money and use the free WAZE App on your cellphone for accurate directions and real-time traffic reports.

Yes, it's old now. I don't use mine anyway as IF I need directions I'd much rather use Google Maps as it has traffic and all that happy crap.
It's still nice to know that I'd still have at least a somewhat reliable system in the car, even if five years outdated.

Bocatrip, all you do is stick the disk in the NAV tray in the boot and follow directions on the screen.

Thanks everyone. I just received the latest Garmin to cover both my older cars while keeping my IPhone free for calls. I’ll also look. Into the Volvo disc. Anyone know the part number and what year the maps are updated to? Thanks again.
