D

Does anyone know what this is below the passenger door mirror? The drivers side has a gap or opening without the "sensor". It's a 2011 model year XKR X150

My guess is temp sensor. Easy to test if you heat it up a little with your fingers you should be able to see an increase in temperature on the screen.

I was more curious as to if it was either the Left specifically in ALL cars, or dedicated to the "passenger" door, regardless of which side that happens to be.

I have no idea. Maybe other owners can check theirs to see if it's always on the left or the passenger side?

I find this approach to life in general has gotten me pretty far, and only occasionally in trouble.
