Default Wiring backup camera from trunk to cabin, 07 XKR convertible

Searched and couldn't find any specifics, what's the most painless route from the license plate (through the harness) and into the cabin?

Follow the harness to the inside part of the rear seat fuse block, then go under the seat and carpet and along the console and up to the TSD. No need to remove the console if you don't want, the cable can stick up under the edge and hold securely. I did take my bin out though, if I remember.

Thanks, all wired up and good. All in all quite easy compared to other cars I've done this in. I found a red wire in the LHS of the trunk that I tapped into which seems to work fine.

I am considering doing this upgrade on my 07 XK. What camera did you purchase?

You will need a modified version of SDD to enable the Park Assist Camera, as the dealers don't have access to the necessary option.

I have V130 SDD & a Mongoose cable already. I had to recalibrate the seats when I first got the car. It’s has the OEM park assist on the rear bumper. Which version would I need? Thanks.

Not so much a version, but a modified file to insert into your SDD program files. OR, find the ability (usually pay $100) to enter ENGINEERING MODE on SDD. Sadly, I don't have this info anymore since I've updated my SDD since I enabled my camera many years ago.
Either someone else can chime in here with the correct procedures, or maybe visit the SDD forum on this site for further information. I can't help any further. Good luck!
