I've been researching this for some time now, I've seen a few posts that claim the XF and XJ 5.0 front shocks
will fit on the XK as they share other suspension parts such as lower front control arm and lower lateral control arms
front upper control arms, sway bark links, steering tie rod ends and potentially more.

It seems to me that this information is being with held so that we are stuck with overpriced xk shocks when in fact they are
interchangeable. Anyone wish to chime in here?

I am specifically talking about shocks for the 5.0 models, not springs or top mounts.

I'm running XF springs front and back. Fits perfectly.
Don't see why shocks wouldn't.

The xj strut shock mounts are interchangeable with the xk

The xf strut shock mounts won't fit although interchangeable with s-type

 

I am in the shop just now. The very part number is the same price whether its for the xk or the xf.

So like I said…. “I don’t know about that.”
I’d rather it was emphasized that your dealer has non-preferred pricing for you. This is not a Jaguar policy.
