Default XKR rims

Have an '07 XK convert...oem rims are pretty badly chewed up by original owner. Looking at a set of oem XKR wheels...from the same '07-'09 series. Seller indicates sizes as: Front wheels: 8.5JX19, offset: 49mm.
Rear wheels: 9.5JX19, offset: 31mm
Says he knows they'll fit on an '07 XK...
Does anyone know if these wheels would in fact be a direct fit? I'm running oem 19" rims, these XKR rims are 19's as well.

Suggest you pull your wheels ( one in front and one in rear) and look at the offsets marked inside the wheels. Most likely same offsets 49mm in front and either +25MM in rear or 31mm.

Then you will know if they are an EXACT match.

Most likely the XKR owner does NOT have Alcon brake caipers, so they should fit. Some 2008 and 2009 XKR's have Alcons.

There are plenty of markings stamped inside your wheels of the XK.

I have gone thru the same thing recently, and best way to check is pull the wheels (front and rear) to see the stampings.

Hope this helps.

The 07/08 XKR OEM 19 inch wheels which are called Jupiter wheels are a bolt on fit to an 07 XK. I had them chromed on my 2007 XK.

Default 08 XKR Wheels Available

I have a set of XKR wheels with tires in great condition that I'm looking to get rid of for a reasonable offer. If you view a pic of my vehicle, you'll see the wheels that I'm speak about.

Your post is very vague and doesn't tell us much.

Size?
Offsets?
OEM Jaguar?
Price?
Shipping included?
Method of shipping?

Those sure look like OEM XKR wheels...called Jupiter. Assume they're stnd 19". What tires are on the wheels, and what condition are they (wheels & tires) in?
Thx...let me know.

Steve,

They are the original wheels (Jupiter) and the tire sizes are 275/35-19 and 245/40-19 Michelin tires with great tread depth, probably about 7k miles on tires in total.

lothar52,
In the next month or 2 I will probably have a set of factory black pack wheels off my 2011 XKR. They are in good shape with under 20000 miles on them. If you or someone else is interested drop me a line and I will stay in touch. They are the "Klaminos"(sp) style. Steve

The Jupiter wheels are mounted on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires in great shape. I'm seeking $1,800.00 for the entire package...Hopefully your local (DC area).

Jeff:
Thx for the pdq reply...$1800 is abit pricey-er than I was looking to go...while my oem rims are chewed up the Michelins on them are in pretty good shape, so don't really need wheels & tires. I'm working on a deal for just the rims, that's probably the route I should go. You get down to $1400 or so we could talk. BTW, I'm in Florida, but we could figure out a way to get your wheels/tires here. Let me know your thoughts...THX

srkartholl, have you explored the possibility of having your existing wheels refinished. A good shop will make them look showroom new and at a fraction of the cost of new wheels.

Here's a great detailer web site. Its worth the time to visit, if for no other reason, to look at the pics of the great car this guy works on.

Scroll down to see the before and after pics of wheel repair. The guy does some great work.

Well if rims are all that you need, then looking elsewhere might be your best option. Most 19" Jupiters sell for $300.00 min and as much as $6,000.00 for a chromed set. I've never sold anything so I'm not aware of shipping cost or mode of shipping. I maybe willing to go as low as $1500.00 being that you're an enthusiast otherwise I'll be selling them on e-bay or local Craigslist, so give me your thoughts if the interest is still present, if not, good luck in your search...
