where is the vin # for a 1957 xk 140 and who do you recommend to do a frame up restoration I live in nh

Car is too early for a VIN, they have a body number, a chassis number, and an engine number, but I'm not sure where they all are. There should be a plate on the fire wall in the engine compartment or somewhere.
