I generally prefer a car that understates its capabilities, as opposed to one adorned with spoilers, stripes, go-faster wingnuts and racing headlamp bulbs, but...
IMHO there is nothing that comes close to the melody of an on-tune V8 either burbling at tickover or singing when the loud pedal is pressed. The X100 in all its standard guises mutes this to a whisper.
Never thought I'd ever say 'my car is too quiet'

Check out the exhaust systems from Mina Gallery. I put on their system that includes rear resonators (and is about as pretty as exhaust systems get) and also installed their intake and filter. Gives a nice, low rumble at low rpm's, and doesn't get obnoxious at high rpm's. The car also seems to have a better throttle response and a bit more power, but that's a subjective opinion. As mentioned, there are also numerous threads on the subject.

I removed the before axle resonators and added a Mina intake. Sounds good at WOT but only a slight rumble at idle and cruzin. I'd like a little more sound at idle and mild cruzin so may delete the center and add a H crossover. Had an opertunity to hear phils's car with this set up and it may be a little to loud when WOT but normal and idle sounded just about right.
