Default 03 XKR Driver side heat shield C2N1200 needed.

Anyone have one available?
I've tried multiple dealers and two wreckers to no avail. All say it is discontinued.
Gaudin parts guy didn't have one and checked stock in UK from all his sources and none available there either. TIA

I think this is the heatshield that sits under the header tank for the radiator on the left hand side of the engine (the passenger side down here in Aus)? This heatshield on my XKR disintegrated when the gearbox was being removed and a replacement could not be sourced here in Australia or from the UK so the independent I use made one out of stainless and it works fine. This may be a cost effective solution for you if you know a good independent Jag specialist.

Several suppliers list C2N1200 but show zero stock. The only one I can find with stock is JustJags in the UK:

Note they are showing only 1 available.

I probably have one in my "stock". If you can send me a pic or diagram I will find it for you. If they were installed on the 2000 XKR's I have it.

Hi Neil,

I finally reached the guys at Myton Automotive in the UK and ordered, what I think, is the last retail one
for sale yesterday, right before I got your message.
Thanks for the offer.
I would gladly have bought yours otherwise.

Does anyone have availability for this heat shield, still? I have calls into various places but no one has been able to locate one as of yet.

I have 2 parts cars. I have a 99 with engine out. I won't be to my shop until tomorrow. I'll check on condition then.

That shield as far as I can tell it only on SC engines. All of my XK8 are N/A. I saw it at terrysjag.

They are on all cars, but in order to get to the O2 sensor they have to be removed and are a PAIN so usually not put back on. Am debating putting one on the coupe as it is a nice example of a car in original condition.
