Generic code readers will only read the generic OBDII codes. You need something that is specifically designed to read Jaguar codes if you want more than basic OBDII. I use a clone Mongoose cable with the Jaguar software loaded on a laptop.
icarsoft LR2.0 will read Jag specific for about 145 - see following thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...canner-216334/
