1997 XK8 Coupe Concerns
Hello Fellow Jag Lovers,
I have been in love with these cars for a long time and now have the oppertunity to own one of these fine automobiles. However, here are my concerns.
the car has 55,000 miles. Water pump, fuel pump, and steering column were replaced. Thats it.... I heard a smart preventive maintence is to replace the chain tensioners andand some other engine peices?I may have the last part wrong.
The bottem line is that I want a trustworthy automobile and willing to spend the money to make it work. So my question is; what preventive maintnence would everybody do to make this automobile run aswell as it looks??

Secondary timing chain tensioners, transmission fluid and filter replacement, cooling system thernostat and serpentine belt. Less than $1500.00 in the real world, your mileage may vary.Happy motoring!
