Default 1999 XK8 convertible top woes

Hello,
I have a 1999 XK8, which I bought in 2008. In 2009, I had a hydraulic leak at the dome light, and had to replace the lines from the pump all through the car.
The top has operated fine until recently, when I started to have problems again. The pump reservoir is filled to the line. When I push the button to lower the top, the rear windows go down, but nothing happens. I can hear the pump working.
The bell doesn't ring. I really love this car. Help!!!!

The first thing to do is verify that the 'T' handled valve on the side of the pump housing is fully closed clockwise. If open the pump will run all day without anything else happening.

The second item if to verify that the fluid level is correct in the pump reservoir. You might have to get upside and backwards with a flashlight to verify that. Anywhere between the two marked lines.

With those items check let us know what happened.

I checked the "t" and it was tight. The fluid level was fine. We did a hard reset by disconnecting the battery. It worked better after that, but is still not consistently operating smoothly. I can't see any leaks on the ground, but there are drips of fluid coming from the domelight... any thoughts?

Either the hose has gone again or the latch cylinder is leaking.

Where is the latch cylinder and how can I check it and the hose integrity?
Thanks!

It's in the top of the windscreen.

you may also want to lube all the connections on the top you can see and get at... over time the connections get filled with dirt and things start to drag instead of swivel.

Default Hydraulic leak on convertible top

I was dropping the top today and took a shower from hydraulic flood coming from the center around the courtesy lights and mirror area. Now my back windows are down and I can't latch my top. Any idea how to manually latch te top and get the back windows up? Any help would be appreciated on this matter.
