2 Part Question on Arden XKR Coupe may be willing to sell
I have just recently sold my 2000 XKR Convertible for $10,500 immaculate condition with just over 130K miles on it. I also just so happen to come across a Black on Black 2000 XKR Coupe with 138K miles and an Arden performance package installed on it for little $4,300... ya that's not a type-o. Major score for me!!!!
I felt the power in the later to be significant and handling much more stiffer like a Porsche Carrera. came a besides the power the exhaust has been upgraded, Tail lights are the Arden type and the tail on the trunk has been blended and incorporated as one piece with the Rear deck lid. It also, has the Recaro upgraded seats front and rear which I got from an 05 coupe some time ago. Hidden anti-theft kill switch - The car dies a few minutes after the button is pressed so that the thieves don't get very far. Tensioners have been upgraded and no leaks what so ever.
My questions are:

My questions are:
- How can I tell what performance upgrades were installed on the car other that the exhaust just by inspection?
- If I were to sell the car how much could I get for it? KBB has it around $6500 to $7500? The car is a little neglected on the exterior (will need to get a good detail) but may also need to have some clearcoat issues addressed around the Arden taillights. The interior is pristine other than sight wear on the newer Recaro Drivers seat bolster. Also steering column adjustment motor is grinding.
The Coupes are a VERY rare commodity. Any chance to buy one, if its nice and not a junk, should be looked at as an opportunity. In my opinion the 1997 to 2006 coupes are priceless in style and looks! Paintxpert.
I sold my Sapphire blue coupe for 14500. The Buyer gave me his condolences on my loss. And it was my loss. I feel lucky to have my 1997 Coupe amethyst with coffee interior. One of the 1000 shipped to the USA in 1997. Buy em up! The Coupes are indeed RARE!
Nice score! It sounds like you have a lot of room left for profit if you decide to actually sell it.

Can you see these Pics? I'm just curious to know what you would recommend selling price or what is the most you would pay. Don't know if I want to sell it just yet. Having too much fun with it. It get a lot of attention esp from other Jag owners
I don't see much "Arden" on this car.
Take a look at my car in my sig if you want to see what a car done at Arden would have come with. All I see are the tail lights, and Possibly the exhaust, oh and of course the obligatory arden badge on the trunk - which btw mine did NOT come with.
Other than that, it's a standard XKR coupe.
Do you have an Arden build sheet / and or the original sale documentation?
Just food for thought.
