Default 2002 XKR 100 vs. XJR 100.....Wheel and Brake Differences

Good Morning,

My question is differences between the XKR 100 and XJR 100 models. From what I understand (and correct me if I'm wrong), the Montreal wheels are 20" on the XK and 19" on the XJ.

Are there any differences between the Brembo brakes on the two cars, or can the calipers and rotors be interchanged?

Thank you,

Rob

My (superficial) understanding is that there is some commonality between the older X308 XJ platform and our XK8/XKR X100 platform. In particular, the Brembo brakes of the X308 XJ R1 package do work on the X100 platform. Not sure of the ability to swap wheels with the later X350 XJ.

The Jaguar wheels seem to be generally well documented, so you should be able to figure out what model "crosses over". No substitute for direct confirmation, though...

My 2002 XKR-100 convertible has BBS Montreal 2 piece 9" x 20" wheels with 255/35 tires on the front and 10" x 20" with 285/30 tires on the rear.

Oddly I have put my XKR Double Fives on my XJR to test the look; but neither are brembos, both cars are the cheaper brakes (pluses and minuses!). The X350 I know deviated quite a bit from our respective older platforms.
