Default 2002 XKR Wood Trim interchangeability

I need help from the big brains on the forum.

I have a 2002 XKR Supercharged convertible. The wood panel covering the passenger airbag is cracked and I have found a replacement off a 2004 JAGUAR XJ8. Does anyone know if it will fit?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I doubt ANY veneer panel from the X350 would fit any X100.

Plus the wood will not match because it will be from a different tree?

I would consider repairing the veneer panel to keep it all matching.

Jaguar used Madera Concepts for YEARS.

Welcome to the forums Bigvic1954,

As already said, it will neither fit nor match.

Thanks for your input.

I found an individual who will refinish all of the trim for a reasonable price. Hopefully, I'll have it back in a month or so.
