I am a succession trustee for an estate that owns a mint condition 2003 Jaquar Convertible located near Portland Oregon
I have very little knowledge of Jaquars and am trying to determine a fair value and the best way to sell this vehicle.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

How mint is mint? These X100s need to be driven....

 

Been idle for approx 9 months. Driven regularly prior to that and was recently moved to a local storage.
I'm located in New Orleans and I'm trying to get the odometer reading and details.
Its from a bro in law who had a small collection of cars in Wi and Portland . He was fanatical about his vehicles including 2 Harley's.
He was a retired 747 airline pilot and Viet Nam vet fighter pilot

I'm sorry if I broke the rules . I am new to this. At this point I am only looking for advise.
As trustee I have a fiduciary responsibility to get the most for the beneficiaries and I thought this would be a good start to research the value and determine disposition.

 

No rules broken if you're just seeking advice (which you are), as Norri said.

Once you find out more about the vehicle, we'll be better able to help. Mileage and maintenance records are the main things.

In my opinion, the main thing(s) is are price related to condition.

 

Well, sure, but we know the condition already. We need to know how the car compares to others of a similar condition. A 16 year old British car without service records is riskier than one with service records. And two cars of similar condition and thoroughness of service records may still vary greatly in price due to mileage. For all we know, maybe the previous owner was fanatical about polishing paint but wasn't too keen on oil changes. That matters.

Like David implied above, "mint" still leaves a lot unknown that can significantly affect the sale price.

 

I was expecting to see a convertible that had been painted mint green. Oh well...
