Hi- Has anyone done a headlight ballast replacement on the '03 XKR? I can't seem to see how to get my hands up in there to get at it. I purchased a LED replacement kit but can't get up there to get at it. Please, advise if you know how to go about this, please. Thanks!

 

I have done it. You have to remove the entire headlight. There is no way you can change the ballast through the wheel well liner. The only way I can see you not removing the headlights is if you remove the bumper. Removing the headlights requires removing the top Torx screw, loosening the 13 mm bolt at the side, and the bottom Torx screw, and unclipping the headlight washer. The ballast is fastened to the headlight using 6 small Torx screws.

 

You do need to remove the headlight. This might help:
