Hi guys, I just changed my front brakes and rotors ...and rear pads (because I can't figure out how to loosen the rear rotor).....there is some kind of screw that I need to loosen up on the surface of the rotor but I can't figure how to unscrew it... the screw is not anything I've seen...have anyone ever changed their rear brakes?

I'll probably get a pic when I have the chance this weekend.

Just trying to see if anyone here have done the job themselves.

 

zidjan, I think it is a 6 MM hex. You can get a set of hex fittings at Harbor Freight for about $7 that you will need in the future, if you do work on your car. Don't forget the brake shoes for the Emergency brakes. Oh, you will need to back off the Emergency brake shoes to get the rotor off. Read up in the DIY part at the beginning of this forum.
