sometimes its just enjoyable to read. I do this in the other forums, seeing what is going on in the other model sections. I'm interested and I am learning, but much of the time, unable to contribute. Not everyone is an extrovert like yourself Sam.

 

Couldn't they at least ask a question?

Not everyone is a reverend either. Sam is good for this site. I find myself checking my cussing now everytime I'm on the XK8 forum...LOL!...but I do "let go" when I'm on the "exterior" forum...Ha,ha!

 

Hey Doug, I'm doing pretty well, although I have to go in to work at midnight tonight I'm stuck working 3 straight 12 hour shifts over the weekend After that I'm pretty much off for two weeks. I'm visiting my older brother and his family in West Palm Beach Florida, coming back to work for 1 day, then visiting some of my old friends and my alma mater in Lincoln, NE.

Maybe this topic can evolve into our own little off-topic section of the forum since all the other models seem to have them

I usually read the forum ever day, I'm just not that knowledgeable. I will throw my two cents worth in if I'm familiar with the topic. But reading the post are educational and entertaining. The knowledge I've acquired over the last year about the XKR has been invaluable. The techs and gurus have been great. Keep up all the good work.

Keep hanging in there, your day will come. I never thought I would be able to afford one. especially when we had all three kids in college at the same time. We drove the same mini van for 13 years. Also Thank You for your service.

You can pick up older XK8's dirt cheap. I see them under $10K all of the time. Here's a nice black one with a new top and only 76000 miles for $9500. I bet you could even talk the guy down to $8500 because that ad has been up there for quite a while, and the car is located in hicksville
