about H&R lowering springs
One of my friend has a H&R lowering springs for XF.
His car is a 2013 xf.
And he would give them to me if they fit into my 2002 xk8.
Those springs can fit into my car? And how many inches get lower?
It's my first time changing suspension and I have no idea about it.
Thx!

I have 'em on my 97. You are looking at an approx 1.5" drop front and rear. It is the time to do at the very least your shock bushings and the top mount on the front as you already have it apart. The rears are tougher to do as they require some exhaust removal (I didn't do my rears). After a 15k or so I still love 'em. Great look, camber becomes a bit more sporting but I haven't had much uneven tire wear. No rubbing anywhere. Only real issue is you need to remember how long that front end is as you are low enough now that you will scrape if you hit parking curbs.

I doubt these springs will fit an XK8. I can't imagine Jaguar would still use XK8 suspension on an XF. That would be crazy.
I have the H&R springs on my XK8. The rears can be done without touching the exhaust, but more than likely new shocks or shock bushings (top/bottom) will be needed in back and new Shocks, boots/bumpstops, upper shock mounts will be needed in front.
