Default ABS issues

my 99 XK8 ABS light, Traction control & Stability control lights have been on.
I researched and followed evey ones steps. I first checked the fuses (All Good), I then pulled out all 4 wheel speed readers from each wheel, then cleaned them and put them back in. (Still on) I then took out the board, I opened it up and the solder was perfect. I broke out my soldering kit and magnifying glass but I reheated and re soldered anyway. I put it back together.
I still have the ABS light and the others on.
Any ideas?
I just got this car the beginning of October and I love it. More comfy than my 67 E-type OTS but it is nice to have both.
The E-type I can fix, this is stumping me.
Kindly help!

Thanks
Jack

Jack,
this forum is for the 2006-on XK/XKRs (called the X150 model by Jag).
We'd like to help, but probably can't....

A Moderator will probably be along shortly, and move you to the XK8 Forum - you'll almost certainly get an answer there....

(When I owned it) I had to have the ABS unit rebuilt on my 2002 XKR, having had the same history of issues you describe.

Measure the resistance on each sensor per Gus' web page: http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto...heet%20XK8.pdf

A broken wire could be the problem. As Steve says, check the resistance across the pins on the connector to the module. It should be 1000- 1050 ohm for each wheel. The problem with a broken wire in one of the cables is that it might separate only when the steering wheel is turned or the suspension flexes.
One of the modules I repaired was still bad because I didn't get enough heat on the posts. I did it again using a little flux, which I then cleaned of with wet q tips.
Without testing it's hard to isolate the problem. Finding a shop with the software might be necessary.

When I pull the connector, what is the way to check the pins? Across each one side to the other? I am new to cars built after 1977. If you need any help on Jaguars 120, 140, 150, MK1 & 2, E-Types, early Xj6 please ask.

Thanks
Jack

The pins are identified on this sheet:
