Default Air bag code 1 7

Hi all,
I am nearing completion on my 2003 for but have ran into a snag. The airbag light on the dash has started flashing the 1 7 code(I believe it to be the occupancy sensor??). Has anyone had this fault and , or, has anyone sorted the problem?? I have recently installed a new headlining and the light has been showing ever since.

cheers

Russ

Welcome to the forum Russ,
If you tell me what model your 2003 is I'll move your post to the proper tech section.

hi Norri,
sorry my tablets predictive text changed the lettering. I have a 2003 xkr 4.2 supercharged. I've had a lot of work done it's looking brilliant just this niggle with the airbag light. Any help greatly appreciated.

cheers

Many thanks for the reply Norri,
I have now traced and cured the fault. I found the sensor plug in the passenger A Pillar to be loose. Just as a note to other owners the plug felt like it was ok but it needed to be connected so you hear the lugs click into place. When I reconnected everything I thought it was ok but obviously not.
