Yes. It deployed. Truck driver said my son left his lane. Cops believed him and said my son is at fault before even interviewing him in the hospital. Ahh, off to the lawyers.

 

How old is your son? If under age 25 there may be a built-in credibility bias, especially if the trucker has decades of big-rig driving experience with a clean record. Yep, you're going to need an attorney. Good luck and keep us posted....

 

Truck driver sounds like a jerk. Surely there must have been some witnesses? Also if an accident reconstruction expert gets involved, they are not easily fooled.
