instruction says to mount the Crankshaft Position Sensor CMPS on the plate that the throttle body sits on. I do not see any clip for that.
I'm a little confused. On the two cars (XKs) that I've worked on the position sensor was mounted under the engine and trans in a little mounting hole on the front side of the bell housing. Then, the wire ran (from memory) forward (towards the front of the car) to join into a larger wiring harness that came up the LH side of the engine...
Most of those mount tabs were never transferred to a NEW/REPLACEMENT throttle assy during repair.
Throttle problems were common when I worked at the dealer during that time.
