Any know how to get these fastener clips
Scott, take a look at these:

I'd be tempted to buy at that price, cut the front off (so you can insert fir tree after this receptacle is secure) , see if you could epoxy in as a replacement.
Please keep as posted if you go that route. Might turn out to be a useful fix for all.

I repaired a few of my 'fir-tree' mount tabs with aluminum 'flashing'. (thin aluminum sheet for roofing)
It cuts with scissors and can be epoxied the the door card with the slots cut to accept the fasteners.
The fir tree fastener part number is KTC100017

There is a 3D model for these around somewhere that can be 3D printed. Door Panel Clips - Page 2 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum The file is there.
Those fir trees are all over ebay 6 mm is the size or just use a 6 mm bolt works fine and dont break

The homemade 3-d fir tree replacement I bought was no more durable than the Jaguar part.
I guess the lessons to be learned are:
a) it’s a highly stressed part
b) over time, pulling the door shut too hard is not going to be a good strategy for having long-lived plastic parts.
c) maybe a metal 3-D part would be better than the plastic 3-d.
d) don’t expect miracles from a car with an engineered 10 year lifespan when it’s over 20 years old.

Replaced four tree plugs on my 06 xkr with replacements from NAPA and no longer pull the door shut haphazardly. Put my hand down into hand hold and pull it shut with my whole hand to spread the force out. After a year it is still OK.
