1. This is the battery I put in my 04 XK8 5 years ago. Still going strong after 50K miles. Autozone AGM Order it on their website for local pickup and you can get 20% off.
2. Exhaust tip is p/n C2N2912 looks to be still available from Jaguar.

Those Dual Exhaust Tips for the 2006 XKR can be found at: www.jaguarlandroverrenoparts.com The Part #'s are: Left - CZN3289 & Right - CZN3290 & Cost $160.46 Each....I've used these Folks several times for new Parts I couldn't find here in Houston and their service is great! Delivery generally in about 5 to 6 days...and the Price is actually better than the Jag Guys here in Houston!
I installed a "Quicksilver Exhaust System" on my 2005 XKR and I used the Jaguar Tips rather than those that came with the Set as I think they are better looking! They fit better also....

You can't go wrong with the NAPA Legend Premium AGM battery. Right size, good price, good warranty, and working very well for me.

"Best" is somewhat subjective. Here's my best:
