Now, I have a couple questions that you as a Buyer need to get answers about:
#1. I always thought that 2002 XKR's had the 4.0 Engine and Mercedes 5 Speed Transmission.....I could be wrong but I think that should be looked at! The Ad States that it has a 4.2 with a ZF 6 Speed Transmission, which I thought came out in the 2003 Model Year.....as I said, "I could be wrong".....
#2. All the other things fit the 2002 Model Year....Dash...No Chrome Rings on Speedo,,,,doesn't have the Trip Computer (Map).....

You are correct, it appear to be a 4.0, which indicates to me that the person offering it for sale doesn't know to much about the car.
