This was the damage to mine. I could not find a ring or a replacement wheel so i went with the only option I found. I am quite pleased with the outcome because, like others have said, the Montreal wheels were the most appealing.

I knew I would have haters but my 24 year old factory revolvers are still perfect. And yes the Montreals are better looking. But I haven't spent a dime on mine.

Personally, Mr. Terrific, I like the "Old Revolver" Wheels, especially your Chrome Plated Ones....Something to think about would be to Paint the Flat Center Section either Black or the Color of the Car.....

and

daniellalli, all you need to do is get a new SS Ring for your Wheel Tub...plus a couple extra Bolts..and replace the SS Ring portion and you will have a NEW "Montreal" Wheel....Can't tell if your Wheel is a Front or Rear/ (9" or 10") ..(Fronts are 9" & Rears are 10")..... It would be nice to have a new spare Wheel just in case!

Following on from bcprice36 I consider the stainless trim rings an advantage over a conventional cast rim. Much easier to replace rather than having to send rims off for refinishing due to curb rash. I also found that with minor damage the trim can be brought back to new by gently tapping our the dents then wet sanding followed by metal polish such as Autosol. The stainless is surprisingly soft.
Of course, these incidences would be reduced but for the fashion of having tires barely wider, or even less, than, the rim width.

You are right! The SS Ring can be worked! I was forced into a Curb sometime back and it scraped the SS Ring pretty bad...I got my Rasp and File out and smoothed off the Rash that the Curb caused...Then wet sanded it until it was smooth and shiny again....It was pretty beat-up but the File did wonders! Saved $125.00 (BUCKS)!!
My Tires are a little wider than the Wheel, but that didn't help as the Tire gives and allows the Curb to make contact with the Wheel....

I really like the BBS Wheel System and Love the Montreal Design...That's why I still have the "Wheel Locks" in place! The closest I have come to losing one was when I got Home from a Ball Game Downtown, I found that someone had removed all but the Locker Nut, It held the Wheel in place all the way Home and I didn't discover the attempted thief until the next Day!! Fortunately, I had several extra Wheel Nuts from a prior XKR!
