Default Best diagnostic APP

Hi, just ordered an OBDII Bluetooth adaptor for an XK8 4.2 2002.

What is the best iPhone APP for engine diagnostics and is there an APP that will look at all other parts of the car electrics etc.

Thank you.

Your dealer's phone number in your contact list!

Seriously, if you want anything more than basic powertrain (Pxxxx) codes then you need to be considering scan tools well beyond anything an APP can deliver.

From my research I think Dash Command. I have ordered the Kiwi wifi adapter from PLX. Dash Command appears to be the iOS app they prefer so I am downloading that

I've got the Kiwi wifi adapter and Dash Command. It keeps dropping the wifi connection to the iPad, so I'm not a big fan. I have been using an Autel AL619 wired unit. It's display is clunky compared to Dash Command, but it will save Parameter IDs that can be downloaded into a spread sheet for analysis.

My PLX just arrived. It is the latest model which they claim has more stable connectivity. I have not had a chance to play with it yet but I will report further when I have given it a thorough test
