I'm going to rebuild & paint etc my brake calipers over the next month or so (have bought a set from a breaker / parter-out so can keep my car on the road while doing it.)
Rears are no problem, same repair kit for all (non-brembo) cars. But fronts are more problematical :
Jaguar TSB 206-09 lists two seal kits - one to vin A04645, and a different one from vin A04646
My vin is 016506 (six numbers, not five numbers and a letter)

Question - which kit do I need or are they identical anyway - SNG Barratt only lists the seal kit (MJD7868AA) from A04646

The 'A' and 5 numbers VIN started with MY 2000.
Parts listed TO VIN mean that YOUR car falls into that category. (1997,98,99 are 6 numbers)
