Welcome to the forum Gertveer,

The top of this bolt (arrowed in red) has snapped off?

If you can remove the sensor, use a Stud Extractor to remove the broken bolt:

To use these, select one smaller than the broken bolt. Drill a hole into the remaining bolt. The extractor then screws in anti-clockwise and unscrews the broken bolt.

If there is enough of a stub left, there are newer stud extractors that are much like a socket with locking cams that do not require drilling.

Preparation should include soaking the joint with good penetrating oil and hammering on the end of the broken bolt to aid in breaking the corrosion.

Visegrips/Molegrips sometimes work well if they are put on *very* tight.

Cool Extractions

Removing a broken bolt is a learned skill. if you've never done it before, it may be best to have a professional mechanic do it. You will agree with me after the extractor breaks off inside the bolt. Your call...

If it's frozen enough to shear the head of the bolt off, it's going to be tough getting the bolt out with an extractor. However, if you have time, why not try-it's alredy broken. Lots of penetrating oil, hammering, possibly heat, anything to help loosen it. And yeah if the extractor doesn't do it with reasonable force, back off before that snaps off as well. Go to a larger drill bit and extractor size. Good luck!
