I thought it would be nice to have the build sheet for my car so I emailed Jaguar, they mailed back asking for a copy of pages 1 & 2 from the V5 which I scanned and sent, 5 minutes later the full build sheet landed in my inbox, brilliant service, big shout out for Asa who dealt with my request.

I was fortunate enough for the local dealership's service manager to print me the build sheet for my wife's 2006 XK8 way back in October 2012. All of those service department guys are long since gone now and I would not be surprised if the current crew would refuse to do so today....
