Found 2 blown fuses. Replaced 10a- that resolved the fault messages. Replaced 15a- that resolved the shift issue. And here my mechanic told me to have it towed to the Jag dealer for ECM replacement!
In the pic below, it was the 5th fuse down on the left (10a) and the 6th fuse down on the right (15a). Thanks again for the help!

................ I've heard the Jags are prone to electrical issues but the fuse replacement seems to have fixed it. It does other weird stuff like driver's window lowering upon door opening and not going back up automatically.

Window behaviour is because the limit switches need to be reset after a battery disconnect or hard reset. Lower the driver's window and hold the button until you hear a soft click then raise it fully and hold on the button until you hear another soft click. Repeat same procedure for passenger window.
