Can't get Tires Balanced?
I have had my car to tire shop 5 times and I can not get them balanced. They have 9 them out while I watched. They seem to be good tires (michlem) 75%. The wheels seem to be straight. I feel a twitch in stearing about 70.,,,, 60 and 75 is somewhat good. I have dust covers on front. Maybe thats the reason? Any suggestions???

How much weight are they putting on the wheels? When you took them the car and told them the issue, did they just throw them on the balancer and remount them on the car? OR Did they do the right thing and deflate the tire and spin the tire on the wheel and start over, in a sense??
Additionally, the mounting surface of the brake rotor is important... It needs to be clean... The bolts SHOULD match and all be at the exact same torque... Some cars can get away with, "Ohhhh, that looks good" on tightening with the impact... Maybe not our cats!!
Finally, any add-on should be taken out of the scenario to eliminate them from being the cause... Also do a front to rear rotate to rule out uneven wear being an issue...
The only other thing would be suspension bushings being worn...
Good luck!!
Cheers!!!

Find a shop that has a Hunter Roadforce balancer system, most dealers have them, and better quality tire shops, check with them first to make sure they actually know what you are talking about. You can search google for Hunter Road Force and there is a shop lookup function. I had an out of balance issue on both my XK8 and XJ8, and tried repeatedly to balance at a general tire shop that did not have the Hunter machine, problem never resolved. I found a local Chevy dealer that did the Roadforce for $88 for all four, 70MPH shake fixed.

I put two new rear Yokohama YK580 tires on my wife's XK8 back in mid-April. She immediately complained of the car pulling to the right. Took it back to Discount Tire the next day, they Hunter Road Force Balanced the two new rear tires, and no more pulling. She's been happy ever since. I've read several places that in order to get these large-diameter low-profile tires right, they must be Hunter Road Force Balanced. Sure worked for us....

I researched all-season tires for the XK8 for months. These Yokohamas were by far the best bang-for-the-buck. I'll put two new ones up front when her Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus front tires wear out, but that will be awhile yet. The Michelin Pilots are great tires, but they cost a fortune. The Yokohamas have a better warranty and are far less costly....
By the way, the Yokohama YK580 is exclusive to Discount Tire. No one else sells it....

When you get tires roadforce balanced, they can read out the sidewall forces around the tire and compare to a standard. If you have bad tires, they will show up as varying numbers of resistance in quadrants around the tire. I just had a set of Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires roadforced balanced to cure a 70 mph jiggle. It turned out that the tires had inconsistencies in the sidewalls that were causing the problem, it was not the balance. A balanced lumpy tire will jitter just like an unbalanced one. Pays to buy good tires. An old tire that been running out of balance can also get lumpy and not be balanceable.
