Default Car cover for xk8

Hello Cats,

What is the best car cover for an 2001 XK8? Won't be able to get her into my garage until spring. I live in Philadelphia so need to protect her from the wind and snow. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have the OEM cover purchased from Jagbits. Good quality outdoor cover with nice jag logo.

i also just recently bought a 2001 XKR convertible.

i got my indoor cover at http://www.classicadditions.com/ it is a very good quality cover with a super soft fleece lining. fit is also excellent.

i also picked up the windscreen for the convertible and they were both delivered to me in about 2 weeks.

My 2 cents:

For outside use, I've had wonderful results from a Covercraft Noah car cover. It does keep the rain out and does breath so condensation can evaporate. They are pricier than most but you get what you pay for. I have more cars than garage space so some of my cars sit outside year round. The covers have a 4 year warranty, but in strong sunlight they deteriorate after 3 years....send it back and you get a new one that's good for another 3 years. I haven't had a problem returning them (excellent service through autoanything.com) and if you call them they will look for a discount...so you pay about $200/$230 for a great cover for 6 years...new to this forum...am I allowed to recommend specific vendors?

Recently bought a hailprotecting cover from Rinder - Autozubehör hat einen Namen in Austria.
For 100Euro got a very solid and easy to use and fixate outside carcover.
Checkout catalog warengruppe5.

Does anyone know the original price of the Jaguar JAG0752 OE car cover?
Jagbits www shows item as 'backordered/out of stock' and no price available.

There's a luxury car dealer selling one locally and before I make any inquiries about it's condition, I'm curious if the asking price is reasonable.
Thanks,
Chris

I got an iCarCover size C4 and it's a perfect fit for my XKR convertible. It was $66, and it's survived in the Arizona sun for one year so far with no deterioration. It's pretty thick. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B086WNZRL2

To CA Jag,
Out of curiosity, I was asking if anyone knew the price of Jaguar OEM car cover JAG0752 as it appears to be out of stock [so no price] on Jag parts www sites.
Someone local is selling and asking cad$250 [over usd$200].
Thinking a potential buyer is someone wanting an OEM cover 'for show' and not for protection. Materials these days would provide much better UV & moisture protection than a 20 year old cover.

I might offer the seller $50 to put over a newer cover just for aesthetics.

Silver2002, cover sounds interesting if it fits. Generics are hit/miss. I most definitely do not recommend CoverKing. We got expensive custom fit covers for 2 cars. Both poor fit and badly made. Material on one is failing.
