Default Coil spring color codes

Greetings members!

Does anyone know what the different paint colors on the coil springs indicate? I know that on several of the Porsches I've owned, the paint marks on the coil springs differentiate between various compression rates of the springs.

You already know the answer. But how much difference between them, I wonder?

Thanks RJ. I was really looking for a translation of what the colors correspond to the actual spring rates for our cars. Fer instance, yellow paint swabs = 250lb spring, etc. They have to relate to some numbers, and I'm guessing there's a factory decryption chart somewhere that someone may know about.
