Default color of antenna wire

I searched around a bit and can only see that the antenna wire is black/green. This isn't working on my car? Does anyone know what the color of the wire is for the antenna? My husband installed a complete new audio system in my car today but can't seem to find the correct wire for the antenna. Thanks!!

Post #2 in the Thread shows the Diagram for the entire run of the Antenna Control wire, from Radio Head Unit to the Antenna Assembly.

Here it is again:

If this is not helpful, Be more specific, what EXACTLY is he looking for?????

Yes, I saw that but that green/black wire is not activating the antenna. He is going to try another approach in the morning. I appreciate your help. Otherwise he has done a jam up job replacing the entire audio system. I now have a double din touch screen Kenwood, nav, sirius, bluetooth, all new ken wood speakers and new amp. Wow does it sound 300% better. As you know...he had to do some handy work to get that all to fit in an xk. Thanks so much again.

If the green/black wire isn't working the antenna, you either have issues with your antenna, or the head unit is sending a pulse down the wire and not a constant power. The antenna needs constant power to stay up.

He located the green/black wire under the arm rest and that one worked. But not the green/black wire by the radio. Weird But it all works now and it is wonderful. Tomorrow I am having the viper alarm installed with SmartStart. Unfortunate that I have to do this to protect my car but I have been broken into twice at work and I teach at an elementary school!! Ugh.

Thanks for everyone's help. As usual you all have undying patience with me. PS I will post pictures soon of the new install.

My husband did not take pics during the install. I asked him too but he didn't. I am sorry.

Default Thanks for the video.

Your husband does great work and you took a good video too. Love that dash installation. Videos like yours help inspire the rest of us.

I especially liked the ragtop mounted car seat. I'll bet the grandson really loves to sit up there. Does he wear a helmet with a face screen to keep the bugs out of his teeth?

Seriously, thanks for the time you took to make and post the video!

Thanks for that Moonpetal, the cars looking really good.

I wish I didn't have the factory nav so that I could go the same route as you with the radio.
