Convertible Raise Rear Windows Relay

Convertible Raise Rear Windows Relay
I have a broken hose that comes out of the hydraulic pump for the top in the trunk. It's not fixed yet. 'Too busy with other things for now. I accidentally actuated the top to go down. The rear windows went down, but wouldn't go back up. This video shows my tech at Falconworks doing the trick with the relays and a wire. If you need to do this yourself, use caution and do it just like seen in the video. If you're not certain, have a tech do it.
I haven't done the dyno test yet. Sorry guys. The car is running crazy strong. In this colder weather in Tucson, about 60 degrees instead of 110 in the summer, I can be going 60 mph, hit the gas, and easily spin the rear tires. Cool!

When you actuated the top down mode your roof began the roof opening sequence and my guess is that your rams are unlocked and that is why your windows would not go up. The present disposition of your roof is that it is not locked into position and you may ask why that is a problem. When the rams lock into position a cable from the back ram linkage to the front of the roof is made taught this action prevents the roof from being relaxed preventing it from bouncing on the windows as you drive. Any force or bouncing could cause damage to the window and/or the window regulator.
Your procedure is not new to this forum but thanks for the video to help others.

If it's a latch hose that's broken, there is a mod that lets you raise and lower the top using the rocker switch as usual, provided you're willing to operate the latch manually with the hex key. About $6.00. There's a link in sig. line below.
And some of us will be grateful if you don't mention anything about 60 degree temperatures for a while!

Until you get to that broken hose ...
