The pressure reduction kit will not solve a leaking problem.

If your latch actuator piston is leaking get it rebuilt here: Jaguar Convertible Top Hydraulic System Rebuild/Upgrade Service - Top Hydraulics, Inc

If your dealer installed the (now discontinued, for good reason) repair kit, it will not last. If the repair itself is leaking you would need to replace the top hoses.

I have a lot of information on the roof system on my page

Link JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource

I also have info on the pressure relief valve but once a leak is present the valve is of no use.

I agree with Steve the hose repair kit from Jaguar will not last. It is the splice that gives out! I am surprised they are still available Jaguar removed them from inventory.

Is the leak at the pillar or near the top where the lights are? The patch by jaguar in my car leaked near the fuse box on the driver's side around the door pillar as that's where the splice was. Check Gus's links to see how to replace - there is also a PDF on how to replace the hydraulic lines. The latch rebuild guys (Top Hydraulics)provide a fast turnaround. Would definitely send it in since you will have to open up the header - definitely not that hard if the leak is there.

I suspect that now the latch piston 0-ring is what's leaking. Probably needs a pressure reduction kit (link anyone?) rather than spend the $$ having the latch replaced. Shame on Jaguar for multiple design & installation issues with this long standing known problem.
