Convertible Top Help!!
Stupid me. Was trying to figure out how to have the top down and all 4 windows up... for tint installation.
I did not let the top complete it's sequence to go up or down. Basically, I stoped it at 90% up. Now it won't go up or down, although I can hear relays click when I attempt. I did not experience a green shower.
What do I do? Where do I start?

I think Steve can help you with closing the windows electrically; however, you can do this manually and this link to my page should help. JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource I was going to respond to your first problem but I see you found a blown fuse.

Lower the top and raise the front windows.
Open the trunk and access the trunk fusebox. Note the four small relays as in the photo.
The function of the relays is as follows:
Upper left: Left quarter window raise
Lower left: Left quarter window lower
Upper right: Right quarter window raise
Lower right: Right quarter window lower
Note the orange jumper wire in the photo. This is currently set to lower the left quarter window. if instead you want to raise the left quarter window, move the jumper wire to the same relative pins on the upper left relay socket, etc. Just keep the jumper connected long enough to complete the window movement. Do not connect more than one jumper at a time.
Do not forget to lower the rear windows before you raise the top back up, or else the top seals could be damaged.

Hey Steve-- one more wrinkle for your instructions. The oposing relay has to be in place for this to work. i.e. the UP relay has to be in for the DOWN jumper to work, and vice-versa. I pulled all 4 relays at first (BTW they have little keepers on the left and are hard to pull), and the jumper didn't work. I had to put one of the two relays back in to make the windows operate. Thanks for the help again, should have Abbey back tonight from the detailer/tint. They had the rear and side door windows done yesterday.. MC
