The X200 sensor will fit the hole but the engine management (AJ28) is different as well as the connector.
That might be what happened?

The one I bought was advertised for an XK8 with correct thread. Plug did not fit but i mangaged to get a connection and while the temp was actually 6 deg C the electronic thermometer (Scangauge) showed 40 deg c. Clearly the NTC was incorrect . The engine ran very bad .

So we still have the question whats the right sensor part number ?

I appreciate that it's extra work, but the crossover pipe (AJ85885) isn't badly priced and comes complete with a new sensor. It's also biodegradable plastic and prone to splitting so worth considering if your existing one is is of any age.

I have an old one somewhere in the replaced parts museum. I'll try to locate it and see if it has any identification.

JEPC also shows LNA1600AA.

FWIW, my OE one is marked DENSO 179700-0220. Seems to also fit some Mazda cars.

I knew you would be the man with the answer ..I have ordered the LNA 1600A and discovered the one I was sold was LRA 1600b so that is going back.

Top Man.

So they sent a fuel temp sensor instead of a coolant temp sensor. They have different plug connectors.
