Wow. Just wow. A true one of a kind. Can't think why there aren't more like this.

This is a gilded lily, if ever I saw one.

I so nearly went for it...... but then I see the seller won’t post to Portugal. What a shame.

Default Buyers beware

It’s obviously been heavily modified....

Let me tell you a story....

Bought a cheap restore-mod BMW Z3, as a fixer-upper, in Bahrain. Engine kept over heating (it’s seriously hot during Summer in Bahrain). Found PO put in a bigger 2.5L engine but not upgraded the cooling system. Then it wouldn’t stop, as PO didn’t upgrade the brakes. Then in the red rev range, transmission would go into fail safe mode....

It’s just a warning of what you may be getting into if you buy this car....

Judging by the rear end treatment, this must be the rare x125 series.

De gustibus non disputandum est, but not for me.

A quick check of its inspection history suggests David may not be too far off the mark.

Nice touch on the off-kilter aftermarket stereo head unit faceplate and empty switch hole in the fuzzy shifter picture, gave me minutes of enjoyment, shared with the wife....

You already know what I think of it! But, I'll continue.....The Rear-end looks like a used Aston Martin with the tail lights and bumper...even has an A-M Emblem (Wings) on the Boot Lid!. The Paint scheme is ridiculous...makes it look like a "Clown Car"! Don't think I want it....I pass!

Should be thrown away. After all, the price on eBay is bin.

Don’t you think that the registration plate looks a bit like PITY? Kind of.

More like PITTY U if you buy it.

Bit like the old saying, "what is a camel?" "A horse designed by a committee" that car looks like is been designed by a committee too.

Brilliant wheel nuts. Actually I have to admit, with perhaps a Starsky and Hutch reference in its bespoke paintwork, it is beginning to grow on me, like fungus or slime mould.

Hmm. Got something to hide?

The sellers feedback ratings are interesting. Notably is included a disgruntled would-be purchaser giving a negative review because, apparently, the seller withdrew after the auction being won at £1900 for an xk8. I imagine we know what that car looks like. It must be worth a lot more for comedy value alone.

I suspect most people are like Michael, "De gustibus non disputandum est". I've noticed plenty of nonstandard XK8s around here in my short time around here, generally supportive, I think (e.g. black header, 'quadruple black', superb).

I also suspect, however, you recognize that this particular set of "nonstandardness" has some not insignificant comedic value.

For example, I started to post this but didn't earlier: "Based on the pictures, I struggle to see a 'spare part' for my XK8s". Mostly I stopped because Rothwell's post was funnier.
