Default Creaking door

Have cleaned seals and treated with silicon polish. Any other recommendations?

Check for wear and play at the door hinges and lubricate them as Z suggests. I like white lithium grease for hinges better than silicone because it is also safe for the door panel and dash plastics but it leaves a heavier layer of grease.

Cheers,

Don

I also like the white lithium grease.

In this application I suggest the silicone spray as it will penetrate better. If you can get the lithium inside as far as needed, then it will last the longest.

But often it won’t get into a very tight spot as it’s too thick.

I have good luck with the white lithium grease spray cans like the CRC:

I work the door in and out while spraying grease down and up the hinge pins. There's usually enough clearance between the hinge barrels and pins to allow good penetration of the grease. I hold a paper towel behind the hinge while spraying the grease to reduce overspray and cleanup time.
