Hi everyone,
ive got the cruise unavailable warning and no abs. The code reader pointed to the rear sensors. I've cleaned them and the messages briefly cleared but came back after a short drive. I've tested the sensors and get readings of 678 and 682 on the meter. Does that seem about right before I start pulling the abs module.

With a “cruise not available check rear lights”amber message the solution came after I followed the advice of several forum members and replaced a battery that was only two years old and now keep it on a tender/charger when not in use. As an new owner I believe it was the cheapest fix ever!

 

IMO, it's not a matter of IF the ABS module will fail, it's WHEN it will fail.

 

You mentioned a 2003 XKR but nothing close in your signature. Occasionally that Cruise issue will be the Brake Light Switch too.
