Default Detroit Wheel Damage

Hello
I Damaged my front offside wheel on a pothole, which has bent the rim. I have been told by three different wheel repairers that
it is not possible to repair. Could someone suggest any alternatives or where I can source a repacement wheel please.

Very much repairable, a new trim ring is a certainty and not cheap.

Thank You Baxtor, but it is not the trim, it is the actual wheel itself. The trims were not replaced the last tme
I had the wheels refurbished.

For a repair like this you will need to go to a good body shop and then take it to a wheel shop to get it reconditioned to match the others. When it comes to automotive parts just about everything is repairable. (Of course depending on the body shop they may also be able to recondition it to match.)

I think that the OP lives in the UK, unless there is a Kent in the USA?

I have had one of my Detroit's fixed with a very similar bend. It also had a crack which was welded. Of course this required reconditioning but all in all it turned out great. These wheels are difficult to come by in any condition.

did you wreck your 2002 then find and buy a 2001 to replace it? I understand that emotion, if so....
